I was recently given a 3man spa. It was wired for 220V. I am trying to hook it up to 110V. Can someone please tell me what I need to do besides call an electrician. lol

First thing is you need to make sure that your control can be converted to 110V...any control system will say right on it 110/220 if it is indeed convertible...Assuming it is then make sure that both your pump and your blower are 110V already and assuming they are then it should be a simple matter of connecting your hot line to L1 and your neutral to neutral and then installing a jumper between L2 and neutral

Thank you so very much. Yes it all says it is 110/220. Given that I have a black, red, white, and naked ground, which do I need to run the jumper from and too? right now I am using the black wire for the hot wire and the white for the neutral and the green for ground. Do I run a jumper from the white to the red?

Usually Red does indicate L2 so yes....however I must warn you that is not always true and therefore you should take precautions, if you follow the red line to it ending point the only place it should take you is the heater...assuming this is true then jump white and red and stick a fork in it...If it leads you to other places also, then check the black and see if it only leads you to the heater.
