Removing Sovereign Control Box
I have a 1998 Sovereign tub and I believe I have traced the leak to a tube or hose behind the control box and the heater and such. My question is how do I remove the control box so that I can get behind it to take care of the leak? Without the pumps running I am losing about an inch of water each day, and drastically more when the jets are on. I was hoping a seal a leak product would work but that didn't help. Am I just missing something on how to remove this to get behind it?

Re: Removing Sovereign Control Box
Do you see an actual leak or do you just see water seeping in where a bleed-line comes through the wall of the equipment compartment? If it is the later then it means that the foam has absorbed so much water that it is just exiting at the lowest point and the leak may be nowhere near. Look at the light lens and see if there is any corrosion on the inside.
To get the box out, take the outside cover off 1st, then there are two stainless screws in the bottom that need to come out, then it slides about an inch to the right, then pulls down.

Re: Removing Sovereign Control Box
Thanks, as soon as we got the box off we could see where water was spraying out of a tube. Hopefully replaceing that hose will do the trick
