SPA connected directly to main house panel.

Hi,
My SPA is very close to my main house panel(20 feet) and i am trying to connect the SPA to the house panel directly. But every time i try to put the GFI breaker on, it fails. I am on 240v, i have the pig tail from the GFI going to the nutral (with all the rest of the white in the house panel). Red\Black goes to the breaker, Ground goes with all the grounds and the white is with the whites.

Is that the correct setup?

More than likely the white from the spa needs to go directly into the breaker and not to the neutral bar first.

No "More than likely " about it. The neutral from the spa connects to the GFCI breaker.

Thanks for the correction. I know that is basic GFI knowledge. I wasn't sure how it was hooked up.
