gfi needed or not?
ive recently acuired an older tub "the system 220" is whats on the manual for it but here is my problem ive not been able to locate a gfi breaker for it and was told that older tubs didnt use them and do not require one..here is the specs from the manual
ss220hbe total sytem max load 57.2 amps master breaker size 70
can i use a 60 amp gfi or do i just run without a gfi?...the sytem itself has a 70 amp breaker in its spa pack box
dont want to hear any "buy a new pack" or "buy a new tub" as this was a working unit

Electrical code requires GFCI protection, you can install a GFCI breaker of a GFCI Load Center. Do not run a tub without GFCI! Electrical code also requires a "disconnect" within eye sight of the spa.

ok then....do i need to run a 70 like the book says or try and run a 60...cause to the best of my searching no one has EVER made a 70 amp gfi
