| 1992 D1 rebuild, where do these go. |
Got new heater, controls, and circulation pump comming. Does anyone know which pipe goes to heater and which one goes to circulation pump. The main pump for the jets work. Just need help to figure out where this stuff goes. Parts were gutted and not with tub. Just an empty space. |

Look at the pipe that is on the right hand side of the open space, near the jet pump. Does this go to the pipe that goes into the end of the jet pump? If so, this is most likely the pipe that goes to the inlet side of the circulation pump. It's hard to tell from your picture, as the center support is blocking the view. |

No pipes do not connect. Stuck water hose to that one and it comes out 2nd filter. The other pipe comes out at the feet area side hole by the light. The other side hole goes to the other hole in the filter. |

The pipe that goes to the footwell will be your return from the pump/heater assembly. The other will be your pump inlet. |

So if one of those holes suck, It wont suck someones foot. The other returns have covers with little holes. I updated the pic as to where I think they go. |

Ok, you said you have a second filter? Were you meaning that you have another drain instead? The 2 screens are not filters, the ones that you have labeled "jets". Those should go to your jet pump inlet. The 3rd one at the bottom should also have the screen (the one you labeled "filter pump") and should go to the inlet side of your circulation pump. It appears the screen is missing. The last one which you labeled "heater" will most likely go to the return from the heater, back to the tub. I assume you have just one filter, and it's inline with your jet pump? |

No I have two Filter systems. Yes I know those are not the filters. That is what is making this so hard. I hooked it up with just the heater to the two pipes comming out but have no water flow thru heater. Opened second filter and it has no water flow. That is why I need to install another pump but need to figure out which pipe goes where. |

Take a picture of the filter assemblies, the plumbing that you can get to, and anything else you can think of that might help. I will do what I can to help you out on this. |

Ok I will take more pics when I get home. This wouldnt be so hard if spa wasnt full of foam insulation. It is a Dimension one. If you go to the d1spas web site it tells you they use a separate filter system from the jets. Its just that now the ozone is in the mix too. |

Here are some variuos pics Cant get any more pics of plumbing than I have above. Foam is solid. No plumbing is visable beyond front. |

Better close up showing pipe on the right does not connect. Also temp. prob. goes in that pipe. |

To be honest, I am not familier with that system, but I will do some thinking and hopfully be able to help you figure this one out. Pageup, Swine, and Toptech have been pretty good on some of these more obscure setups, hopfully they will see this also and put in their 2 cents worth!

Most likely I will just hook it up and see which way will work. I got a 50/50 chance as to which way water flows. The Jet half works. Just need some flow to get the heater on. |

1992 d1 rebuild
I am currently rebuilding a 92 dimension one spa. It is very similar to yours except it has two pumps. (more leaks for me to fix) I called dimension one spas and they are very helpful. They explained exactly how the spa should work in detail. They will also send you a owners manual. It has been very helpful for me. My spa has a few wiring issues and the guy before me let it freeze up. I am currently digging out insulation to find a leak. The phone # to D1 is 1-800-345-7727 |

I called too, they said the manual was in the mail. Been two weeks now. The parts are way over priced. They gave me some info that has helped. I am doing as much as I can on my own. Finding replacement parts on the web and not going thru them. I have now added a circulation pump but filter is sucking air. Gasket missing from lid top. Working on that fix tonight!! Who knows what next!! |
