First Spa rebuild looking for info and advise.

Hello All, well I bought a cheap Fountain Valley Spa and I don't seem to understand It's plumbing configuration. The air hose isn't connected to a blower of any sort? It completely loops around the tub from one air valve to the other without tying in to a blower? Also, the Pump is cracked, the old Len Gordon "HL-30" pack is obsolete and I want to install a new spa pack with new technology and a piece of mind. But can I tie in to the airline with a new air pump? Any replies will be greatly appreciated..

PS: there is a skimmer. also I cannot find any info or scamatics for len gordon HL-30AL.

well since everybody has just so many suggestions, I think I will split the airline on both sides or the switch and tie in to a blower on the new spa pac,,SUGGESTIONS? ANYONE? ANYONE? <img src=:" title="Question" /> <img src=" title="Idea" /> <img src=:" title="Question" />

Well, I imagine from your message you are a bit frustrated, but sarcasm really isn't get you anywhere, in fact it will probably discourage folks from replying. Anyway,

The air line you refer to is going to an "air control" and does not need a blower, in fact if the spa probably didn't have one originally, properly plumbed spas don't need a blower, the jet bodies venturi draws in air through the air control. Buy a new filter, appox. 10% of water volume should be sufficient (i.e. 500 gallon spa, 50 square foot filter), and replace the whole equipment system with something like: http://spapartsnet.com/p_Air-Control-Sp... 1_2_1.html Looking at the plumbing you will have to tee off the discharge since you have 2. Good Luck on your adventure.
