Upgrading a Sundance Calypso
We recently purchased a 92 Sundance Calypso "As Is". Needless to say it doesn't run. Power goes to the Spa Pack but we are not able to get power to the components connected to the spa pack.
From what we can tell, the spa still has the original spa pack so we figure it will be easiest to just upgrade. It is possible that just the topside control doesn't work, but we are worried that if we replace items one compenent at a time we will end up spending a lot more money and not having as nice of a product when we are all done.
Right now we are looking at the Spa Builders Group LX15. My husband will be doing the install and is very savvy when it comes to fixing stuff, but he hasn't done extensive work on a spa before.
Does anyone have any feedback on if we are going the right route, the spa pack we are looking at and any checks we should do before choosing a specific spa pack (or even replacing it).
I appreciate any help you can provide.

This is more dependent upon the amount of plumbing work you want to do. We carry special spa controls that will fit any spa with minimum amount of plumbing rework. If you contact us and send digital photos of your existing equipment we can give you the best idea of what you need to do.
