attaching tubing
I need to replace water manifolds that cracked(freezing). I am going to replace 3/4" tubing (I.D.) which attaches to 3/4" barbs on manifold. The existing tubing was attached with a metal band that is crimped over the barb and tube, and there appears to be some adhesive. Tips on attaching tubing would be appreciated. eg;do you use a lubricant to slip the tubing onto the barb(it is very tight)? I saw waterway brand tubing clamps (appear to be plastic). Are these sufficient, etc. These are water supply tubes so under pressure. THANK YOU
