I would like to replace the entire control panel. But am not sure if can.

My question is: I can replace the circuit board as option #1; or option #2 can I get a whole control panel minus the motor and heater that will work with all my D1 controls.( ie: air pump, temperature controls, flo switch? It has the 24/7 circ pump running on air. It is a 1994 Dimension one 4 person w/recliner.
The circuit board number is D1AR1F.

You need to stick with the D1 air system.

How long you had this spa?

A little history: Got spa about a year ago for $100.00. Wired and hooked up and would not heat. Found broken fitting on ozonator and by passed as shown.

Worked great and fell in love with it. Then had problem somewhere in 24/7 circ with flo warning and no heat. Could feel suction and exhaust ( where heat comes out only no heat. I then jumpered the pins as shown in picture. Worked fine for sometime maybe three months.

Then one morning overheat notice and shut down by overheat limit. The sensor on water temp never went above 52 degrees but it would eventually reach 106 on floating termometer and overheat would kick out. Replaced double ended sensors for overheat and water temp. Refilled and could not get flo warning to go off even with jumper on pins. Also had an "ICE" warnig on display.

And that is where I am currently. Will wait to hear from you before ordering circuit board or control.

Well you can't bypass the flow switch terminals and power it up. The system will think the flow switch is stuck, which is why you're getting the flo error.

You shouldn't be buying anything circuit board wise until you get your flow problem fixed. I presume you've cleaned your filter - and the air diffuser bulb in the bottom of the filter cannister?

How old is the air pump?

I have cleaned the filter. I have not cleaned the diffuser bulb. The air pumps may be original I have not done anything to them.

About the bypass it worked for awhile however I may have crossed the terminals after the power was on.

To remove the diffuser without the proper tool I have read on here that someone just used a 1" plastic pipe?

yep. You have to use care not to break the flimsy bulb from it's rubber threaded base. Even if it does break, to remove the rubber base, I use a large, long flat blade screwdriver and shove the end into the base at the bottom of the filter cannister and unscrew it. It would be a good idea for you to take a look at this old thread on how this spa operates: http://spaforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=153 That old apollo air pump does go bad - once it doesn't pump enough, you will never achieve enough water flow through the heater and the system will never work, which is why in my opinion, you should not replace the circuit board as that is usually the last thing to fail on one of these spas. Post back what you find.

Won't get to work on it until this weekend but will try suggestions you gave and get back to you first of next week.

Blew out line with auto air pump. Do have increased air bubbles. With Auto pump hooked up flo warning goes out. If hook up apollo pumps flo stays on. Checking heat cycle now. Heated from 51 degrees to 54 in about half hour. Guess I need a pump assembly. Have not checked if problem with overheating is solved yet guess it's one at a time. Should I get the ozonator at same time as pump?

Found hose unhooked from one of apollo pumps and reattached. Seems to be working right now! Will check back on overheat problem later. In holding pattern now.
