93 Sundance Calypso, Circuit Board problem
I think I may need a new board for my 93 Sundance Calypso spa. I found crossed heater wires in the control box and they had melted into each other. They connect to a A-Zettler component on the circuit board. The wires had melted onto each other and look to have damaged this A-Zettler component on the circuit board. The spa works with the heat turned off, blower and pump works, but when I try to heat the water it pops the breaker. I fixed the wires but it is still popping the breaker. I was first looking to replace the board ($275) but I'm thinking about replacing the A-Zettler components first.
Good idea or should I replace the whole board? Anyone know how to get the component I need. Thanks for the help.
Phil

It's possible that the board is still fine and it is in fact your heater that is bad, try disconnecting the heater and see if the GFI still pops.
