| 94 hot springs souvern not working, power light flashing |
no heat, no jets. I unpluged it and pluged it back in, also check the switch on the side door. What should I check next? |

Re: 94 hot springs souvern not working, power light flashing
Hello. A few things to check: First pull out the filters and reset the power to the spa. (clogged filters can cause the tripping) Check the little red button, closest to you, on the side of the control box in the equipment area. If it's tripped you will feel a click when you push on it. (this would indicate a low or no flow condition for the circulation pump. See if you hear a click when turning up your thermostat. (if no click you may need a thermostat, that year is a retro to an electronic t-stat (75087). Check circulation pump flow. It should come out on the wall near the light lens or near the filter area. (if no flow you may have an airlock in the pump, unscrew the 3 standpipes that the filters go on, the shallow hole is the one dedicated to the pump, put your hose in the hole and turn it on full blast, then reset the power to the spa and feel for flow) you may need a new pump(74427).
I hope this helped. 20+ year tech |
