Hi,

Acquired an older analog Balboa model with, of course, no information. The tub is located near Lake Tahoe, and is subject to freezing. I would like to turn it down low and leave it on when I'm away, but when I do so, it goes into some mode where the heater light blinks at about one second intervals, but the heater doesn't appear to be active at all. Furthermore, when I turn up the heat setting from this state, it will not operate at all, unless I cycle the main circuit breaker. Can anyone explain what's going on?

Also, I see an unused plug on the board with an inscription of "freeze control", or something like that. Does anyone know what connects to this, or how it works?
