Blower motor is tripping GFI
My husband took it on his own to wire our hot tub. I know that there is a GFI breaker box that is about 6 feet away from the tub. He had an electrician (friend) come out and he checked it over and everything was hooked up ok and grounded, etc... The problem we are having is, in the mornings when you turn on the blower it trips the gfi breaker. If you do not turn on blower the pump 1 and pump 2 work just fine. Not sure if the breaker is bad and we need a new one(we just bought this one at home depot and it is made for spas) or if something else could be wrong. Please help. One more thing, I do know that he bypassed the gfi yesterday just to run the blower, thinking maybe it was wet. After hooking it back up to the gfi, the blower worked without tripping. He seems to think it is getting moisture.

I think he's right.
