I'm having problems with my tub. The pump and heater are both rebuilt so I'm pretty sure it's not an issue with them, here's the story. I got this tub on Ebay (bad idea) this guy never had it running so he couldn't tell me anything about it. I ad the pump rebuilt and the heater check out OK. I got it all hooked up, started it and the pump runs in both low and high speeds. The problem is that the pump will kick up and blast the water out of the jets for one short burst and that's it. It seems ( this is just a guess) that it's not getting enough water to pump? I have taken the filter cover off and the filter out and watched what it does. It will suck all the water out of the reservoir at the same time the pump kicks up? I did notice that there seems to be some kind of check valve in the filter reservoir? Don't know if that’s true of if that's the problem. I can switch the power on and off 4 to 5 times and get the pump to kick up and blast water. Is my flow switch bad and not detecting the water causing the pump to slow back down? It is a Harwill Q-12DS that has the actual cord for a Cal Spa. Any help I could get would be much appreciated!! Thanks,
