| Dead Hydrospa |
2 1/2 year old model 910 Hydrospa. Trouble free until now. Hot tub was running normally when I pushed the Pump 1 Key. Both pumps shut down, error messages flashed (I could not read at the time) Did hard reset of all power to hot tub but now is completely dead. No lights at the control panel at all.
Hydro-quip CS6230 Pak, ECO-3 controller. Power detection switch shows positive (red light) on Line 2 setting, no display on Line 1 setting.
122 Volts is present at power connection to Spa Pak on both sides to common (240+ Volts is suppied to Pak). I have removed both fuses on the circuit board and checked, also removed and checked (and swapped) both Pump 1 and Auxilliary fuses.
Next suggestion would be greatly appreciated. All error lights and lighted cords are dead on the pak. No apparent power on the line 1 side but not sure what to check next.
Thanks |

Go check your breaker. It may be fried. |

As noted, I have voltage at the input connections to the spa pak - 122 Volts on each leg.
Both GFCI and main breakers are good. |

Meter between both hots to test for 220v. It's possible to get the "same" 115V on each side, and not have 220v |

Measured 251 Volts across line 1 and line 2 this morning. Supply voltage is present.
As noted, I have no display at all visible.
Pressure switch appears good.
Thermal limit switch appears good (what should it display on ohm
meter when tested - unconnected?)
Thanks again. |

Burned out main power connector diagnosed. Returning to Hydro-Quip for repair. Wish installing electrician had actually adequately tightened 6 gauge supply wires. |
