| Flow Thru Heater Wiring Help |
Replacing existing spa heater and need some assistance in making sure wiring is correct. As I have read there are not many wiring diagrams and haven't received any factory help so I turned here.
I diagrammed the wiring on the previous heater that the wiring melted. They had some jumpers that looked too small and small black wires going to the LED that fried. So I don't want to wire like original unless just the wires were two small (12 AWG I believe).
New Flow thru heater is 240V 5.5 KW with side mount thermostat control. There are two wires in the control box going to the element. Two temperature sensing bulbs with 1 going to the thermostat and the other to the reset contact.
I have 3 wire supply power 8AWG (black, green, looks like brown), 2 black wires from pressure transmitter. 1 orange wire from timer.
The control box has two terminals on the thermostat control and the reset contact has two terminals. There is a ground lug on the metal flow thru heater housing.
Aquatemp # 20-08512
Part # 48-5300-10-V01
Vulcan # STX060 U
6 KW 240V with Thermostat and Hi-Limit
Thanks for any help. |
