Re: HELP!!!!
I have never rebuilt one but I would be more than happy to try and help out. Do you know if there is any damage to the plumming or the tub? does it leak? I would think the first step would be to take a close look at the wood structure and replace any broken or spit supports. Then fill up the tub and see if you get any leaks. I know you cant power it up but it would be good to know if there are any leaks or cracks. If you dont see any cracks or leaks and the structure looks good you could move forward with replacing that control system. Many companies sell complete spapacks such as spaparts.net, spadepot, spaguts.com ect... Most of these packs provide the main control system, topside spa control and heater. Pretty much the entire control system with the exception of the pumps. These packs range from $400.00 to $800.00 depending on what you need. As a quick checklist for a spapack here are the things to make sure of:
- Do you need 120V or 220V service? - Do you need one pump or two pumps? - Do you need a blower circuit? Is it 120V or 220V - Do you need a ozone circuit? Is it 120V or 220V - What voltage do you need on your heater? 120/220
Most of the above questions can be answered by looking at the labels on the pumps and heaters. If the pumps are labeled 220V than you need 220V circuits on the spapack. Same goes for the ozone (if you have it) and blowers. |
