HL Problem
Hi guys. I need some help with an "HL" problem. I have an 8 year-old spa with a MSPA-1 (Gecko?) controller. The spa runs fine most of the time (ie. it heats to a level and stays there, say 95 degrees, for several hours) but the next morning the display shows "HL", the heater turns off and the pump is running. I reset the HL indication (the temp is still 90-96 degrees) and the same problem will occur hours later. I have pulled the thermal switch out and it looks OK (ie. no corrosion). Do these switches get erratic as they age or do you think I have a more major problem? Thanks for any reply.
