Heater problems
Hi all! About a year ago I replaced the heater on an older (but much simpler) polynesian spa and all worked fine. Two months ago the motor and pump went out and has been replaced. Now for my current problem; the heater is showing as being on nearly all the time and the water temp won't get over about 83° while it is set at 104°. Being a rather new heater I am wondering where to start tracing the problem or if someone has seen this problem previously. It is such a hassle to pull the whole unit from the spa that I would like to have some idea where I am headed before digging in. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Heater problems
You can test voltage going to the heater. Then you can test continuity across the heater leads. If you have voltage but no continuity it could be a reset button or a bad heater. I'm not familier with that spa so I am guessing on the reset button.
