| Hydro Spa Electrical Problem |
I have a Hydro spa with a gecko electrical panel that I recently installed it, wiring it to a 50 amp 240 GFI breaker.
I was told the system worked fine a year ago but was emptied and not used since. I have checked all the connections and have 120 volts at both legs.
When I turn the power on the breaker kicks immediately. I have unplugged the pump and then the blower motors but the break still trips. Checked the heater and it appears to be okay. I check the ohms across terminal # 1 (black) and neutral and it zeros out. Terminal # 2 (red) does not zero out. I suspect a problem in the board or a relay. Can you help

Try disconnecting both heater wires, even the neutral. |

Electrical Problem
Thanks, I did go back and try disconnecting all the heater terminals including the nuetral but it still triups the breaker. I suspect it is something on the circut board, either the transformer or a bad relay. |
