I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS WRONG!!! WONT HEAT UNLESS JETS ARE RUNN

I bought this 1996 Cal Spa Series 3000. I cannot find a serial number on anything i think it might have been ripped off i dont know. anyways ive had nothing but problems with this thing. had to replace the wet end on one of the pumps, had to replace 2 heat elements cause the original one that was in it had no continuity so i bought a brand new one and for some reason that one didnt have continuity then we put another one in and the element has continuity now and it has power and stuff so now the element works. so the problem is now if you do not have the pressure switch by passed what we did is just jumpered the pressure switch cause i think maybe that thing is bad. then you have to have the jets running or the tub will not heat, and the highest that i can get the tub to heat is 99 degrees and thats when i go out and have jets run cause for some reason the jets shut off by themselves after about 30 minutes of running. when it was around 99 degrees we actually got to get into the tub and the jets would shut off after 30 min and you can get one of the jets button to turn back on but the jets on will not turn back on its almost like that pump that the jets one button turns on is oever heated or something cause if you wait and go back out after like 15 min and go out the jets one will turn back on. we are completely at wits end with this stupid thing. the guy who sold it to us put a 30 day warranty on the thing and it hasnt ran right since we brought it home and he said everything worked great when i bought it. I DONT KNOW HELP!!! they say a hi limit switch but i cant find the limit switch, they also say that maybe pressure switxh but we jumped the switch and it still wont work. and just so you know im sure lots of people might do this but the tub is on Standard heating. i know that the tub has a economy setting to where it only heats at certain times but that is not what the tub is set on its set on standard. ANY HELP WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!!!!!
