| MYSTERY buse fuses on circut board????? Sundance Spa 800 |
sundance marin 800 series omr3800mr995890694
the blower on my spa stopped working. the control panel does show the high and low 'bubbles' but the blower does not come on, either manually or during the heating cycles.
there are two buse fuses located on the circuit board that are directly parallel to the two leads going to the blower.
The spa manual shows basic wiring and the big fuse towards the bottom, but does not have any info on these two little fuses and the factory is about has helpful as a newborn baby.
are either one of these two buse fuses related to the blower? One is 1.25a 250v pt no 6660-112 and the other is 8amp 250v pt no 6660-100.
thanks! |

Re: MYSTERY buse fuses on circut board????? Sundance Spa 800
You could pull the fuses and check them with a volt meter (ohm them out) to see if they are good. The 1.25 amp fuse is the control fuse, and part of the control board circuit. The larger fuse is probably for the pump. I have a new Altamar, and the air pump is started from the control board relay K14. It then goes to Termal Board 4, where you can unhook the wires and test for voltage. If the relay is not picking up, the small control fuse may be blown. |
