| Master Spas Control Panel Not Working |
Greetings all... thanks in advance for any help you can provide for this odd problem.
I have a Master Spas Legend Series spa, about 4 years old. I recently drained, cleaned and refilled the spa. Upon turning it back on, all three sets of jets and the lights came on when I pushed the corresponding buttons on the control panel... but then, MOST things stopped responding altogether. The spa is perpetually in Economy Mode, which means one set of Jets comes on twice a day for an hour each time, and it attempts to come up to the pre-set temp of 100 during those periods. So the good news is it's not in danger of freezing (I'm in NJ), but other than being able to use the Program/Mode button to schedule the times when Economy Mode turns on, I have no control over the spa at all.
The Program/Mode button won't do anything else. None of the other buttons are responding either; lights, jets, temp, clock, nothing. In Economy Mode, Jets 1 (there are 3 Jets) comes on in the lowest setting, so I know that pump is working fine, and I did witness the other pumps working, albeit very briefly.
The manual suggested air lock can be a problem after draining and refilling, so I did what they suggested to correct that problem; drained some water from each pump. No change. Then, I thought it was probably a problem with the topside control panel itself, so I bought a new one and plugged it in to test it... exactly the same reaction to pushing each button.
It's very odd and very frustrating! Does anyone have any suggestions at all of other things I might try??
Thanks for your time and help!

Re: Master Spas Control Panel Not Working
Are the motors making a noise when you hit the buttons or are you just getting no response at all? No icons or lights on the topside to indicate they should be on? Two things I'd try off the bat:
Check your fuses.
Disconnect your pressure/flow switch from the board and see if anything changes. |

Re: Master Spas Control Panel Not Working
Thank you so much for the quick reply and suggestions! To answer your Q's, NO I don't hear anything when I push the buttons, and the usual little indicator lights and screen symbols don't come on either.
I will check the fuses... probably this weekend (so my electrically-inclined husband can see what he's doing during daylight!) ... As for the pressure/flow switch... is that one of the dip switches on the circuit board? (Sorry for my ignorance, this is all new to us!!)
If so, there is a "map" to the circuit board inside the box, so we should be able to figure that out... if you mean something else, please let me know.
Thanks again! Wish me luck!

Re: Master Spas Control Panel Not Working
It should be a two wire plug on your board. The wire will go to a small sensor in your plumbing, perhaps on the heater housing itself. |
