Hi. I have a 2003 Landmark hot tub.
Today, I did the usual weekly routine, adding chemicals, etc. and left the jets running, as per instructions.
A few minutes later, walked outside and notice the jets had turned off.
I then noticed a burning smell and saw wisps of smoke coming from the main electrical panel.
So I turned off the main power, grabbed a screwdriver and opened the panel. There, I saw a black box, with "Bonding Terminal" printed on its side and IQ2020 on its front, had begun melting away, leaving a gaping, charred hole.
Obviously, I'm not using it until I get it looked at.
But, having no knowledge whatsoever of electrical stuff, I would really appreciate any insight into this before I call the spa company servicing dep't, just so I have a general idea of what's happening.
Any input would be most appreciated.
