| No Circulation when Heater is on. Please Help. |
I have an old Down East Spa (Spa Works) tub that runs on 220V. It has two pumps and a blower with a Teledyne Laars spa pack. Last summer the pump that sits behind the Spa Pack seized up. I replaced the pump today with an Aqua Flo FMHP (2 speed).
When I turned on the spa everything appeared to be working normal. Both pumps fired up and the blower did as well. However, when I turned off the pumps and turned up the temperature control the heater went on but the circulation cycle didn’t start.
I turned the jets on to their lowest setting and then turned the temp knob up, the heater appears to be heating the tub.
Typically the tub goes into circulation mode as its heating. Any thoughts on why this isn’t happening?
