| Pump hi-lo switch problem |
Hey,
I just bought a used Spa Pack (Hydro Quip 9000) and the only way I can seem to get my pump air button on tub side to control pump from high to low is to switch the red and black wires on the air switch inside pac. Then it works fine. If I put the red and black back where they should be, nothing works and I get a loud hum from pack.
I could live with this problem, except, the timer doesn't work right now. The only way the timer will control the pump now is on high. (normally it would control low pump and to get high pump I would press the pump button on tub) This is because the wires are reversed, and like I said, if I put them back to normal, nothing works. The spa pack just makes a loud hum. WHat do I need to replace??
Thanks alot for any ideas! |

Oh yeah, also..............sometimes when I hit the pump air button, nothing happens at all....even with the red and black reversed. |

ok, I may have stumped u guys? Well, I find that if I give my spa pack a good tap, the pump button will work. But still.....ONLY with the red and black wire reversed. So still, can't use timer, cause it will only control the HI pump.
Strange....... all the wires are tight and no sign of any corrosion.
Any ideas? Anyone?? Thankssssssssss! |
