| Tiger River Bengal circ pump problem |
I moved this summer and had no time to tend to my spa and it at empty but covered. I recently filled it and it appears the circ pump has seized (no bubbles). I have three LEDs on the ckt board. The ones for the jet pump and heaters come on but the circ pump one doesn't. I measured output voltage to the pump and it is 115V. The spa is currently wired for 115v. With the jet pump on the spa unit trips off after a few minutes. It doesn't appear to be a GFCI trip. I'm pretty sure I need to replace the circ pump. Do the symptoms imply any other problem?
Thanks for any help you can provide. |

I just want to be sure we are on the same page. A circulation pump doesn't move a noticable amount of water, nor should it produce bubbles. Only your jet pumps should do that. |

When everything was working properly, while the circ pump ran, small bubbles would come out of the grate in the bottom of the tub. |

Those bubbles would be from air trapped in the line somewhere, and is generally not normal, circulation pumps do not induce air into the water, unless they are hooked to an ozonator. |
