Just when I thought I figured out my spa I'm completely confused again. It seems that whenever the timer activates the cleaning or whatever cycle that is, my breaker trips (230v / 50amp). At first I thought it was just happening intermittenttly but I'm almost positive it's only when the timer kicks in. Other than that, everything works fine. It heats fine, the jets work, air works, light works, etc. If it was the heater element or the pump - why wouldn't they trip the breaker at any other time? Any idea what's causing this? Thanks.

improperly wired timer or even perhaps corroded contacts bleeding current to ground.
