HI, new poster here and looking for help troubleshooting my Spa control problem since the estimated repair price seem unreasonable from the place I bought it. They want a minimum of $210 to show up and the probable replacement parts are $280 for the top side control and $300 for a new PCB.

SO, I want to take a shot at repairing myself as I have an electrical engineering background and can understand testing with meters and such.

It may be that I need to end up spending the money to replace one or the other, but I'd at least try to avoid the service call of $210.

Symptoms:

When applying power (turn on breaker) Top Side control flashes a "1", then "12:00" then off. It repeats this cycle for ever, never turning on the system. As a first step in trouble shooting, I disconnected (one a time), each component (RJ11 connectors on the control board). The only one that made a difference was the heater RJ11 connection. When I unplugged that one, the pump actually starts for a few seconds then switches off for good and the same sequence occurs on the top side control.

I'm puzzled as to what these symptoms are telling me. Any hints as to what to diagnose next would be very helpful.

Hi,

I have a Vita Spa L700C that has been sitting at a rental property for about a year. The tenants say that they never used it and power was off.

We moved the spa to our home a couple of days ago. Yesterday the electrician ran the wires and we powered it up.

The spa is clean and both filters have been cleaned and replaced.

The FLO message alarm is blinking on the spa and I can not get it to stop - any ideas??
