| balboa controls acting up |
Hi Hoping someone can help me out.
I have a Great Lakes spa with a Balboa Instrument Control. The control display is showing the temperature counting up and down by 2's. The display changes about every second or so. It displays 80, then 82, then 84, up to 104, then 102, then 100, etc. down to 80. It just keeps going through this cycle. It does not acknowledge me pressing any button. The filter pump is running continuously and the heater does cycle on/off according to the temperture set. Eventually this stops at a random temperature which is usually not the originally set temperature. The spa is a 2004 model and this has never happend to it before. I have disconnecte the power several times, but this didn't resolve the problem. I was wondering if the software needs to be reset, but I'm not sure how to do this.
Any ideas?
Thanks Dan. |
