gfi& heater
Same old question about a GFI tripping. In this case the hot tub works when the heater is unplugged. That tells me it must be the heater. The heater is a balboa, 5.5 kw 15" 2+2 Mill 7 The heater and sensors work fine. So is the problem with the heater? Can I replace the element or sensors, or, Do I buy a complete new unit with the sensors included. Could it possibly be in the wiring? Not the heater? Thank you for your help John Thompson Falls, Mt.

Re: gfi& heater
Yes you could check the wiring - many times a heater will work but be shorting to ground and trip the GFI. If the wiring is OK then it should be a bad heater.
