jacuzzi wont shut off
have a jacuzzi outdoor spa that im having an issue with.. when initially plugged in it is supposed to run for 2 hours then shut off. it doesnt shut off. when i push the button which rotates between off - low - low lts - high - high with lights or whatever the sequesnce is, it will go to all those modes except off. i did check the low speed relay and found that it is turning off when the high speed relay kicks in. the high speed relay also kicks off when the low speed relay is on. but when i push the button on the control panel it skips right over the off. i removed the telephone looking connection from the control board and it stopped running. plugged it back in and it started in low speed again. turned off the power and then restarted it and it went into its 2 hours cycle for cleaning. i disconnected the control panel after 30 seconds and after the 2 hours was up it turned off, which it would not do the last 6-8 times i have plugged it in and unplugged it (115v) so i am taking an uneducated guess that there is a problem with the conrol panel. Opinions? other checks? anything appreciated.. also any upgrades? the model is a jacuzzi z115 / 315 are there any control panels plug and play that have a better heat control than a knob? electronic display? just hate to buy a new one and some say for 40.00 more you could have had _____ thakns in advance chris

Re: jacuzzi wont shut off
Silly question but, does your spa heat using low speed of the pump? If so, and the spa was set to heat... you would not be able to turn off that pump.
