Tub on patio bricks
I'm a first time owner of a hot tub, (picked it up last night) and have of course multiple questions. Instead of pouring a concrete slab, would it be possible to setup the tub on patio bricks of some sort? This tub is 7' by 5', and seems to be supported in the center of the footwell of the tub. The skirting is simple decoration offering no real support for the tub.

Re: Tub on patio bricks
If the skirting is for decoration, I'd suggest that this is possibly an in-ground spa that has been adapted to look like a portable. Consider digging a hole with a small slab in the bottom for the foot well to rest on so that the bottom of the seating is at ground level. Then back fill around it with a well-packed dry mix. This should offer adequate support.
