Dimension 1 water valves (Hunter HPV) cheaper
I have a 2000 Dimension 1 Chairman II spa and on the massage sequencing system all 6 of the back massage solenoid valves leak and 2 have bad solenoids. I priced replacement parts online and the solenoid itself (01710-116) Solenoid Valve goes for 29.95 and a rebuild kit for the valve (01710-117) Diaphragm & Support Ring is 23.95 and a replacement valve is (01710-115A) Solenoid Valve Assembly is 69.95. I dug and shopped around and found that these are just Hunter HPV sprinkler valves and found a supplier http://www.sprinklerwarehouse.com that sells the same parts (minus the unions on the whole valve assembly) for:
HPV-101G Valve for 21.76 each
434100 Solenoid for 10.77
So I just ordered 6 new valves $130 with shipping, that will allow me to rebuild or replace all 6 valves to stop the leaks and replace all of the solenoids and still have spare parts.
