1993 HotSpring Classic equipment compartment leak
I have a HotSpring Classic (plastic body) circa 1993 (F141171) that has a leak in the 'equipment' compartment (as they call it - where the pumps are).
The leak is coming from the jet pump's intake line. It seems to be seeping up from around where the pipe goes below the compartment floor. As far as I can tell, the leak is not coming from any crack or pipe connector in the equipment compartment itself. I've drained it and am about to try to raise it up some so I get to the underneath of the tub.
Just thought I'd ask to see if anyone has any experience, suggestiions, etc. for this.
If it is seeping up through there then it just means that the foam insulation has absorbed a lot of water and it is exiting out from the lowest possible place.
I would check the light lens, and the shell around the light lens and step area for cracks. They will look like small black hairs and if you run your fingernail over it you can feel it.
