| Broken Pump Union Nut |
For those of you who have had a pump union nut break, don't despair there may be an easy fix. We have "Split Nuts" that allow repairs without cutting the fitting off, they are available in 1.5"and 2". It will work on Aqua-Flo, Waterway & Vico pumps, and other standard union threads. This part will not work on Hayward pumps or Jacuzzi pumps.

Re: Broken Pump Union Nut
Could you post installation instructions, does this screw like the regular nut or do you place on the end unit and then screw it together? |

Re: Broken Pump Union Nut
Screw it together around the plumbing, then thread it onto the union |

Re: Broken Pump Union Nut
I have two union Pump nuts on each end of my heater. They are as tight at I can get them but they leak. Is there any kind of gasket or something I can use on these to seal them up. I have taken them off a couple of times but no luck to get rid of the leaks. |

Re: Broken Pump Union Nut
Yes spiltnut union will work for you on a flo thru housing, do not use teflon tape etc, these are all o-ring fittings, still leaking after tightning as much as you can? Replace the o-ring, I like to use what we call flat gasket with o-ring embedded. |
