We have a Balboa hot tub. I am not sure of the model number. We have noticed that only half the jets turn on when we press the jet button on the control panel. So the left jets are quiet and the right jets blow, but the seat jets on the right side are quiet. The only time all of the jets come on is when we press the large white button which located on the side of the control panel. I was under the impression that the large white button gave extra boost to the jets and did not completely control half of them. Our spa repair guy says that the tub is working because the control panel jet button is only supposed to use one half of the jets and the large white button turns on the rest. I don't remember this being an issue in the past, so I am wondering if this guy is being shiesty and shady. We noticed the jets were not coming on the day he came to fix the white button connection. The connection was bad, so the pump was running constantly and causing the tub to overheat. I am wondering if he knocked something loose or disconnected something and doesn't want to come out to fix it. Maybe he is right. Anybody have any insight?
