Jet pressure too weak Inground 8 jet tub
Anyone have any suggestions on how I can increase my jet pressure? If I remove the filter I can get an acceptable level but with the filter in place with the pump on high it feels like a circulating pump too me. Here are the stats.
All of this equipment is located in a pool shed about 10-12' from center of the spa. The spa has 8 jets with a main drain and skimmer being feed from separate lines to the pump. Any suggestions are welcomed, I dont know what else to do at this point.

Re: Jet pressure too weak Inground 8 jet tub
Sounds like speed 2 (the higher of the 2 speeds) isnt working on the pump.
Two ways of setting up spa pumps:
a. 1 small pump for heating and filtering + 1 big pump for the jets b. 2 speed pump (low speed for heating and filtering) + high speed for the jets
I think u have config (b), but that either the pump's second speed isnt working, or the control system will not activate the higher speed for some reason.
Check it out and post a reply...

Yes I have confirguation B as you described. And unfortunately the high speed is working properly. I have a feeling alot of my issues have to do the air control valves at the spa, when I open these to let more air in I dont get any increase in pressure or bubbles entering the system. When it warms up I will double check to make sure I dont have water in those lines by blowing them out with compressed air. But it may be that they were installed wrong and now are encased in cement.
If I take the filter out the pressure increases dramatically however still not what I would think it should with a 4hp motor.
