| Leak In Marquis Departure Spa |
I have a leak somehwere. I put green food coloring in the water, recirced the water for about 2 hours and disconnected the electric, tipped the spa on its side and still couldnt find the leak. I found various wet spots, dug but still couldnt find the definitive leak. Is their any other dye you can use that wouldnt ruin my shell. I tried squirting water in some of the jets ansd still couldt find it. ANy suggestions?
I was going to fill the tub again, and run it and I guess dig in from the side where the water appears to be coming from
Does the pressure washer methond work well for taking out the blown in insulation? Any help would be great

if you have side access, and foam is open cell (easily dug out), this is my recommendation.
probe through foam with timber dowel (blunt) to find wet foam.
dig foam out to expose this area - save all foam in large garbage bag for reuse.
find and repair leak - stuff all saved foam back into position - this can be secured with some pressure pack sray foam over the top or with a stiff brown paper covering the area (or similar). |
