| Leaking Jetsetter |
Greetings from Central Kentucky. I have a 2001 Jetsetter(hot springs) I have just refilled my a tub after draining for the summer. As you're facing the pump compartment, on the lower front left hand corner water is continously dripping from what appeared to be the large(2 1/2 inch) vent that goes to the back of the pump motor. Upon closer inspection the thru skirt mounting flange attach at the bottom corner that the large vent hose is attached to has a smaller tube (3/4 inch) that connects directly to this flange....water is steadly dripping from this smaller hose.Where does this hose go? Also the moto massage does not work it pushes water but will not stay in the track. Could this hose run to the moto unit? Could the failure of my moto be contributing to the leaking from the smaller tube connected to the flange? A plumbing diagram would be helpful. I have removed part of the skirt on the corner in question and don't want to remove any more than necessary. So to know what this smaller hose connects to would help |

Re: Leaking Jetsetter
That is the exhaust port for the jet pump. HotSpring plumbed the 3/4" line at that port for the jets to suck the exhausted hot air from the Jet pump.
The problem you have is a bad air check valve. This needs to be replaced with a Hartford Loop. In the equipment area you will see a fitting hanging there that has 2 3/4" hoses one out of the top and one out of the side, it also has a 1/4" hose out the other side. This is the part to replace. |

Re: Leaking Jetsetter
Thanks Pete for your reply. This Hartford Loop, is that the name of the part required? Would you have a part number? I'm located in a rural area and the closest Watson dealer doesn't seem to know anything abt the product he sells. I see the part in question, and anticipate no problems THANKS AGAIN, Steve........... | Quote: That is the exhaust port for the jet pump.
