New (used) 1989 Hot Springs Grandee G only 50% jets work
Hi! What a fabulous forum! I just got a new (used) Grandee G and I cannot get 50% of the jets to blow anything but air? Also I have no idea how to treat the water, I just pulled the filters out and cleaned them with some bleach water, they had some mildew on them. Any advice on prepping, cleaning, getting jets to work. I have never owned a spa and now have a used one. I am a single mom with moderate mechanical knowledge. Thank you so much!

Re: New (used) 1989 Hot Springs Grandee G only 50% jets work
Lots of HotSpring people here to help! Your first question is confusing to a HotSpring hot tub person. The only way for air to come out of a hotspring jet is if there is already water coming out. Air is then added or removed via the topside air controls or turning the faceplate of some jets, to increase or decrease jet pressure. Try this.... http://www.scarritt.com/spasanitizing.htm for maintenance help.
