Cal Spas 16 years old Scrap it?
We inherited (when we moved into our house) a Cal Spas hot tub, Model PS-4B with a PS-4 control unit air activated control switches (probably not what they're really called). The heater works, one of the pumps works and doesn't leak while the pump to the heater leaks with a very consistent drip. All of the gate valves leak, one of them appears to close on it's own. The tub itself is in great shape, but the surround is kinda crummy.
How long do these tubs usually last? It's always covered.
I'm wondering if it will be worth while to get this thing in working order or should I just junk it and start fresh. Can older controllers be replaced by modern alternatives?
