| Can I install digiital pac with no blower? |
PLEASE someone help! This has turned out to be the hottub from hell! I got sick of trying to replace all the components of this 'bargain' hot tub. I finally decided to dump the original controller and go digital. So I just bought a digital control setup for my older calspa (1995 with PS4 control) On the previous control, there was plugs for the pump, ozone, and a flow control. On this Action Genesis 3000 control there are outlets for 2 pumps, ozone and the blower. SO that leaves a couple questions: Since I didn't have a blower on the calspa, is it alright to just bypass that? Also, since there is no outlet for the flow switch like on the previous setup. Can I just take it out and plug the hole it was in. Which, by the way, was right after the heater. thanks in advance! |

Re: Can I install digiital pac with no blower?
What do you mean by "bypass" the blower? Simply don't plug anything in there, and leave it alone.
The new pack, which I assume includes a new heater, should have it's own flow/pressure switch built into it, so the old flow switch is not needed. |
