No low speed on start up
I have 9 year old Marquis Mirage LX spa. The spa has a 2 speed motor(220V). The spa will no longer go into low speed for cleaning and temperature maintenance. I can get the motor to jump directly into high speed by quickly press the pump switch twice. The spa heats water and runs as usual when jumped into high speed. The moter cycle into low speed after the usual 10 minute cycle and can be put into high spped with 1 press of the motor button. After use it stays in low speed for the usual clean up cycle with the heater turning on and off as appropriate.
When left unattended and the temperature drops or normal maintenance cycle is due I hear the circuits clicking as it trys to start the motor, but the motor does not start in low as it used to.
Any suggestions as to what the problem is and how to diagnosis.
