When tub at temperature pump cycles On/Off every 3 minutes.
This is my first season for owning this tub, it is a Artisian, Magic Class, 2001' Merlin. The previous owner had replaced the controller last year, ( I have the old One to Prove it) The problem is when it gets up to temperature the pump will start cycling On/Off every few minutes. During this the heater does not indicate that it is on. If I drop the temp setpoint more than 5 degrees then the pump will stay off until heat is required. To me it sounds like the temperature probe maybe in trouble?? possible. I stuck a regular pool therometer in and according to that the hot tub reading was off by 6 degrees??Advice anyone?? Sounds like the whole controller.
But a temp sensor may help... I dunno.
What brand of controller does it have?
