| Leisure Bay - Thermostat Wire Disconnected |
I moved into a home with a 1994 Leisure Bay Model G302022LSSOG. The previous owners apparently had trouble with the topside thermostat control so they added a thermostat on the spa pack. Recently a wire from the thermostat has become disconnected and I am not sure where it goes. I have attached two photos, one of the spa pack, and one of the red wire (looped wire on right side) on the thermostat that is disconnected. Any help would be appreciated. |

If you opened the box to find this loose wire rolled up as it is indicates to me it was intentionally removed.
I would put a wirenut on the exposed conductor, check it with a meter to verify if power is present also.
Noticing the abundance of crimp connections look to see if you see a crimp lug with no wire in it, it doesnt mean its where it should be but most likely would.
Im not a big fan of those butt connectors in a moist enviroment. I would individually wrap those with friction tape to seal them off. |
