I have just bought an Xspadition spa for my back patio from an acquaintance. He told me that two of the jets are leaking because the inner sleeves have gone bad. I figured it wouldn't be too hard to replace them... boy was I wrong!!! Swine was right about the company going out of business. The company that has bought them out is Dream Maker Spa. I have contacted them and they said they have not been able to find replacement parts for the X-Spaditions that are more than a couple of years old. They said the plastic part I need was made by a company named Vico or something like that and they don't seem to be around anymore either. I have added a jpg. attachement of the part I need. The spa jet, which I don't need, is laying next to the part I need. I need two of these. Nobody seems to have them. The problem is, without this sleeve, I can't tighten the fitting against the wall enough to keep it from leaking. This sleeve attaches from the inside of the hot tub to the discharge hose that the jet screws into. It acts as a sandwich to seal against the inside and outside of the tub, the tighter it is the harder it seats against the inside and outside of the tub wall. What would I do? I would get a different type of jet to fit in there. Yes, it will mean replumbing part of the spa, but if you choose a company such as Waterway, you will always have parts almost no matter where you go.
