| Caldera Circ Pump - replacement |
We have a Geneva Utopia that we think was purchased in 2001 or 2002 (came with the house) and the circulation pump (I believe it's an energy pro) does not work. The only label on the blue pump states P/N:39586, Serial #1603634, 09/02, 60 Hz, 115V, 1 speed, LTI P/N:6596.9 It does not give the hp. Does anyone have any information for replacing this pump? Manufacturer? hp? etc.? I appreciate any help anyone could provide. Thanks |

Re: Caldera Circ Pump - replacement
There is a retro-fit pump available that replaces the current model that you have. There is a minimal amount of easy plumbing changes to make for the new model, but it is worth it. I sent you a PM about the part. |

Re: Caldera Circ Pump - replacement
Thanks Dan; could you or anyone give me any info on the replacement - manufacturer, make, model, estimated pumping rate? (Lainge, Grubfros, SilentFlo, etc)
The tub was built in 2002 serial #GEB4D1155. I have remeasured the inlet/outlet of the 115V 1 speed pump and the ID is definitely 1".
I appreciate any and all help Marty
(PS - Dan do you have a web site) |

Re: Caldera Circ Pump - replacement
It's made by Laing but made specifically for Watkins (caldera). It's called the E5. There may be some generics for it but I haven't looked around. I don't have the specs handy right now.
The retro is pretty easy, and although the new pump looks pretty small, it pumps out a great flow of water. |
