| Calspa 2000 |
First, let me tell you I have NO experience with this kind of stuff, so if I leave something out please tell me. I have a 1996 Calspa 2000 with a 220v motor in it(2 phase). I set the water temp to 100 and turned on the jets. It came on high for about 10 to 20 minutes then shuts down for a few minutes(havent timed it) then will kick back on. The problem is It will not "low" circulate. the water temp is slowly rising(93 after about 7 hrs from 85 to start). I checked the voltage at the plug going to the motor and get 220v when its running on high, checking the red wire and the white wire, and 0v checking the black wire and white wire. Then when it goes into the "reset" it measures 220v on both the red/white and black/white. Any ideas on what could be wrong?? Just look at my screene name to tell you how much I know!!! lol Thanks for any advise. I will post pics of the board and motor when I can get to it (its raining) |

more info
I now get a "FL" code fromtime to time on the control panel. I turn off breaker then back on and it resets. Also, the motor gets very hot when it goes into the reset{cannot touch it}. the MOD of the motor is 5KCR39UN2979X. It is a GE motor. Don't know the HP, its a blank spot where it should be on the motor. Hope this helps. |

1/2 way there
Figured the pump thing out. There are 2 places on my control box to plug in the pump. one just has high and off, and the other has low, high and off. Still getting the "FL" though. any suggestions?? I took out the filter thinking that was it, gave it a good cleaning, but while I was cleaning it, it went to "FL" again. Put the filter back in and got "FL" again. This seems to happen when it reaches temp. any help would be great.
thanks,
