| Lainge Pump Replaced, but won't run |
I have a 96 D1 Cimmeron wired up to 240. Brand of Control box is unknown but serial number is BSLCV* *60108072. Topside control has no digital display but a red LED for heat and a temperature control knob, as well as switches for low, high, and light.
The tub stopped heating. The heat light was flashing. While troubleshooting I discovered the Lainge pump extremely corroded and motor housing was cracked. I replaced the Lange pump but the tub will still not heat. There is no voltage going to the pump. The heat light flashes a series of 3 blinks, which I assume is no flow.
When I turn on the main pump the pressure switch makes, the heat light turns on, and the heater gets voltage.
Is there some sort of reset for the board to energize the Lainge pump? I checked the fuses and they are good. |

Re: Lainge Pump Replaced, but won't run
Sounds like your flow switch is closed when it shouldn't be (detecting flow when there is none), and as a precaution, shuts down the circ pump and heater.
Try replacing/adjusting the flow/pressure switch |
